Today, Flashstock is thrilled to announce that we have signed a definitive agreement to become part of Shutterstock. This is very exciting news for our team, our customers, and our partners worldwide.
Shutterstock is a great fit for Flashstock
Like us, they are a technology first company who built a platform for assets, tools, and services which we fit into seamlessly. They are a truly global company capable of supporting a large and diverse global customer base. Their expertise and global reach will allow us to better service our existing customers, and help them achieve their goals for growth and scale.
Flashstock will remain an independent business unit of Shutterstock and will continue to operate in Toronto under the leadership of our current team.
We’ll remain loyal to our distinct brand and continue to offer our customers the best in custom on-brand content using our unique platform and a global network of creative talent. Over time our unique service will integrate into the Shutterstock product offering to their Enterprise clients.
A shared vision
What inspired me about joining Shutterstock was a combination of their global reach, commitment to technology, and investment in their platform. We wholeheartedly believe in each one of those commitments at Flashstock, and we’re excited to bring our unique and diverse passion to Shutterstock.
We will now be able to offer our cost-efficient, streamlined content creation platform to Shutterstock’s global customer base.
On behalf of my entire team at Flashstock, I would like to thank Shutterstock for their support and for believing in our shared vision. I’d also like to thank each one of our existing Flashstock customers — without whom this union would not be possible.
